FAQ:

What kind of timing are you using?
Chip timing will be provided for all distances. If you prefer not to be timed, simply don't pick up your chip on race morning...but you will not be eligible for awards without being chip timed.

Are there medals for finishers?
Medals will be given for the marathon and half marathon.

Are there runners and walkers?
You are welcome to do either. There is a 7 hour time limit though, so you'll have to find some combination that will get you through 26.2 miles before the 7 hours is up if you are doing the marathon. No roller-blades, bicycles, unicycles, skateboards, or piggyback rides on faster runners will be permitted.

Where does the race start?
At Lake Lowell Park in Nampa, Idaho.

Can I run as a bandit or pacer?
No, our insurance policy does not permit bandits / pacers.

Is this a trail run or road race?
Complete road race

Is this a certified course?
The full marathon is a USATF certified course, which means you will be able to qualify for Boston or other races using this course.

How are the awards organized?
Overall Top 3 males.
Overall Top 3 females.
Top 3 age category awards for both runners and walkers.

Will results be posted online?
Results will be available on our web site as soon as possible after the event.

Are mp3 players allowed?
They should be fine. This is a road race, so proper judgement will be needed to make sure you don't get flattened like a pancake while rocking out to Eye of the Tiger. Please keep your volume low enough that you can easily hear traffic or other runners.

Are there aid stations?
All courses will have aid stations and port-a-potties approximately every 2 miles. The full marathon actually has 15 aid / potty spots.
